Thomas Vollbrecht, CEO

Tom, our Chief Monkey, holds a deep-rooted passion for the  outdoors, and his understanding of outdoor consumer needs is spawned by his love of the outdoors.  He is an avid road cyclist, mountain biker, nordic and backcountry skier, and competitive sailor. Tom is an innovator who is constantly coming up with new ideas, including SmartCrossbars™! It is this need to continuously innovate that inspired him to start Wasatch Powder Monkeys (“WPM”). His preferred mode of innovating is through collaboration, so WPM is all about open input from outdoor consumers!

Dale Bard, COO & VP National Sales

Dale is a world-class climber who has put up routes in all the right places!  So he’s super passionate about being outside… “Get out more” is truly his mantra. Beyond his fun-hog tendencies, Dale’s experience in the outdoor industry spans 3 decades and includes a broad spectrum of name brand companies such as Ortovox, Patagonia, Petzl and Black Diamond to name a few.

Had dinner at the BCC and heard all about this from the Manneys. Will share with all our skiier, sailor, cycling friends in Buffalo!
